Logan Jenkins Pleased With Morrow

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 12:24 am

Logan Jenkins has written a column in the San Diego Union Tribune that expresses his delight with Republican State Senator Bill Morrow for delving into the issue of chemical castration for violent sexual offenders.  It’s unclear in his column if he is more excited with Morrow’s policy proposal, or the fact that Morrow has helped to spice up the race for the 50th.

Whatever your take you can read more about it here.

Busby Allies Deny GOP Allegations

Filed under: Uncategorized - Administrator @ 12:22 am

Yesterday the San Diego County Republican Party filed a complaint with the San Diego DA, the state of California Attorney General and the FEC alleging that Democrat congressional candidate Francine Busby had improperly used her California State University San Marcos page to promote her campaign.

Busby taught Womens Studies at the school.  Her colleagues tell the North County Times today that Busby had no way of controlling the content of that site and Busby denies the allegations made by the Republicans.  She calls them "patently false."

If Busby’s supporters are right then she is clearly vindicated.  One question however, is if Busby didn’t put the information on the website, then what individual(s) at Cal State San Marcos would think to put information promoting her political aspirations and beliefs on a website about Womens Studies?
