ANOTHER *New* Poll on the 50th
UPDATE: Datamar has conducted a survey for News 8 that you can view here. It’s a survey of voters in the 50th and they too find it to be a Busby, Bilbray, Roach, Kaloogian race. Hat tip to Barry Jantz of the Flashreport who first reported this. Readers emailed and posted to call this to my attention. Datamar’s headline reads "Democrat Busby Tops 18 Candidate List" and "Bilbray, Kaloogian, Roach Lead Republican Candidates."
What’s startling is that the full results show some of the perceived "major" candidates to be collapsing such as Bill Morrow and Alan Uke. Morrow and Uke are beaten by "America First!" candidate Scott Orren.
Democrat Chris Young is obviously not getting much traction as the alternative to Busby for Democrat votes. She’s mired at 1% in the poll.
Here are the relevant players in the race according to Datamar:
Francine Busby (D): 36%
Brian Bilbray (R): 11.7%
Eric Roach (R): 11.2%
Howard Kaloogian (R): 10.6%
