A Friendlier Campaign
The Pomerado Newspaper Group has the skinny on a race to be the "honorary mayor" of Rancho Bernardo.
The election involves selling tickets (proceeds going to benefit charities) which are akin to votes.
The candidate who sells the most tickets becomes the honorary mayor and on Election Night they draw tickets for a raffle to award prizes to some of those who participated.

Hey Administrator - any way to get hold of you via email? When I try to use your email link, I get no address line.

Then again, Administrator never wrote back to me and there was no other evidence to suggest s/he ever got my msg.

My guess is that Administrator has a day job… I’ve emailed several bug reports and site suggestions. Still haven’t heard back.
Then again, if there is a bug, it might be a bug in the blogsome software, and not a sdpolitics-specific bug that Administrator can fix.

Seems like Eric Roach’s website has gone off-line. Anyone have the scoop on this, or is it just temporary?

Hm. I can’t get to it right now either. It was up last time I checked. 90% sure that was on Sunday. It hadn’t been updated since before 4/11 as far as I could tell. I also noticed Sunday that he wasn’t doing his Google ads anymore.
Also wasn’t he supposed to announce something by the end of last week? Seems like he’s out. Although, I suppose it is conceivable he just took down the site in order to revamp it ahead of an announcement that he’s in.

I just tried, and was able toaccess his site. He’s up with a “Thank you, and there’s a lot more work to do” letter.

Roach’s website may be up, but what about SD Politics? Administrator, did you abandon the effort?
